Watch the beginning closely...Duke pulls a Zidane move on Mitoth-I mean, Destro. Guess he also hated "Gone in 60 Seconds".
It reminds me of this.
(Okay, so it makes me long for the slashiness of that scene between Dracula and Velkan. Although comments about shirtless Duke and Ripcord being in gay pr0n has made me giggle.)
So, the big announcement regarding Wizard World was a slew of Marvel artists as guests. A little disappointing, but they still have tons of actors on there. (Some people were going on about how they think that Marvel wasn't going to be there as there was some money issues...nope.) I'm still waiting for more H.I.S.S. Tank peeps to announce what the plans for the weekend will be, and I know a co-worker of mine wants to meet up.
I also need to get more sewing done before I leave this weekend.
Oh, I also went to the exhibit yesterday, but they didn't allow photos. (They did have the Weasley's car on display in the lobby, so I got photos of that.) Of course, I totally wanted to wrap myself in Ced's robes, but...nah. ;) I was wearing my "New Moon" shirt, which brought on this convo-
Employee: You're wearing the wrong shirt!
Me: But it's Cedric!
Employee: But you're still wearing the wrong shirt!
Yes, that and-
"Cedric Diggory was in Hufflepuff, and now he's a vampire. Yeah, that turned out well..."-Pre-show guy.
Still, go and see it. It's amazing how much detail they've put into the props. (They even had a copy of Ron's favorite comic book "Marvin the Mad Muggle" on display as well as his Chudley Cannons memorabilia.) I think I also heard that some of these props might be shipped to IOA...I could be wrong.
BTW, I'm not going to see the new film until the end of the month. Also, I'm going to air my annoyance about Ginny in the last HP movie. Why the hell is she staring at Harry like a puppy dog when in the book, she's dating his friends to try to get over him?! I'm sorry, but young girls need to learn that you have to move on sometimes, not that it's okay to be hung up on one guy...especially if he's dating someone. (Okay, we all know how it ends. But still...)
Anyway, off to bed.
