The one ride I wanted WDW to update is FINALLY updated-

At Epcot's Mexico pavilion, "Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros" debuts (replacing "El Rio Del Tiempo") with a new storyline and film featuring Donald Duck, José Carioca (the parrot), and Panchito (the Mexican charro rooster) from the 1944 Disney film "The Three Caballeros."

The "Gran Fiesta Tour" film features an animated overlay of the caballeros being reunited for a grand performance in Mexico City. Along the way, Donald disappears to take in the sights of the country, leaving José and Panchito to search for their missing friend.

In addition to the new film, the boat ride's props, set facades and sound system have been refurbished and enhanced.

I'm so glad because it was so terribly dated, and "The Three Caballeros" is a much better fit for this pavilion.

It led me to think about what films would be suited for the pavilions...I'll probably write that up later.

It's snowing like mad here. You can see why my thoughts are in Florida.

As for here, Six Flags Great America is going to get a Johnny Rockets stand since the owners of the park have bought the restaurant chain. I've never been in one, to be honest, but it's just burgers in a '50s atmosphere. Like that hasn't been done to death...

Frankly, my dear Anna, I don't give a damn. Hmm, given his busy schedule, this might not happen for him. Or, he might just be on for a year like with "The Boy From OZ".

Now I'm watching "Nathan Barley"...hmm...interesting...

Here's what I have so far for my POTP remake ideas-

You, with the stars in your eyes! )

Yes, I changed it from the original. Then again, that was severely changed from the original...but hell, I had to tiptoe around the whole Phil Spector deal for the most part. And also the fact that I thought it was pretty lame that they had her falling in love with the bad guy. The three men competing for Christine, however, was used in the '43 version, so it's not a new idea. Besides, was "House of Wax" a direct remake? Or "Thir13en Ghosts"?

I'm also thinking maybe the trio of Bill Hader, Jason Sudekis and Andy Samberg could be the trio that shows up throughout the film...that would be an interesting homage...

Meh, I think I'd rather wait until some Fox exec sees this and asks me about it...like it'll ever happen. -mope- I dunno, if they screw it up, they'd have another "Supercross-The Movie" on their hands...I just want it to be done right...well, more like some justice to Leroux's work as well.

Eh. Whatev.
